I bought these to protect my expensive cherry wood desk at work from the unwashed masses that like to come in and plop their coffee cups and Diet Pepsi cans down on it. These are good looking and classy. They absorb condensation nicely and cups don't stick to them when lifted. The cork on the bottom is more than big enough and you won't need to worry about scratching your wood with a little bit of common sense and care when lifting them. The design is somewhat soft and indistinct but I think that adds to the "old world" look. If you want a "photo sharp" image these are not for you.
In short, very nice coasters. Now if I could only get some of the Neanderthals to actually use them....

These coasters are very nicely done, and the map on this particular set is just what I wanted. Even more so, I love that any moisture is immediately soaked up. I can take a 'sweaty' glass off one of these coasters after it's been sitting there for half an hour or more, and the coaster itself still feels perfectly dry.

Attractive looking coasters with cork on the bottom so they won't slide around. Because they are stone the pattern on them takes on a little of a different color from one coaster to the next.

We bought two sets of the coasters, each set is visually unique. But as far as the image is concerned... It's not perfect, what can you expect when it's on such a porous surface, yet the image is distinct. So far everyone is thrilled with them including me, they work!!! My in-laws loved them so much the came right out and said they want two sets as their house warming gift. The coasters got a far higher praise than the dinner we spent hours preparing for them. If you want a 100% clear image don't buy these and stay altogether away from sandstone!!! But if you want something lovely and subtle, that really does work, I highly recommend this set.

Very well made coasters. The artwork on them is beautiful. You get 4 per pack though. But everything else is wonderful. I highly recommend this product.
